Nova Southeastern University Athletics

Marissa Zeno joined the Nova Southeastern University women’s lacrosse program prior to the 2026-27 season following a collegiate playing career at the University of Louisville and Maryville University.

Zeno capped her career at Maryville with a standout 2025 season, earning First-Team All-America honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine, Second-Team All-America honors from the IWLCA, First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-GLVC recognition. The midfielder recorded 107 points on 69 goals and a team-leading 38 assists while helping the Saints capture a conference tournament championship and advance to the NCAA Division II National Quarterfinals. She also earned USA Lacrosse Magazine National Offensive Player of the Week honors and was featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10.

Off the field, Zeno was named a CSC Second-Team Academic All-American and earned IWLCA Academic Honor Roll recognition.

A native of Illinois, Zeno played and coached with True Illinois Lacrosse from 2018-22 before continuing her coaching career with Bluegrass Lacrosse (KY) and 410 West Lacrosse (MO).

Zeno earned her bachelor’s degree in Data Science from Maryville University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Engineering at the University of Miami. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
